Victory Through the Word of Faith
“It’s worth taking a risk when motivated by faith in God.”
- Ruben Barreto
Faith is a fundamental virtue in the life of every believer. In order to victorious we must have faith that God is who He says He is, can do what He says He can do, and that He is efficacious in accomplishing everything that He has planned for our lives! Faith is critical to our status as WINNERS!
The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” If we are going to be successful in this journey of life then by all means we must begin with faith. It takes faith to please God. It takes faith to access the grace that allows us to even receive the free gift of salvation. The Christian journey begins from a posture of faith!
It is, however, not enough to simply have faith! Our faith must be articulated and verbalized if we are to occupy the space of victory! Faith articulated actualizes the power of what we believe in the context of our circumstances and brings our faith to life! In Mark 11:23 Jesus advises that if we believe that the things we say shall come to pass, we will have what we have said! In other words if you want to make your faith actionable in your circumstances you must say what you believe! We have been declaring Better is Before Us all year long because we believe that regardless of whatever circumstances we encounter that what’s ahead of us is far BETTER than what is behind us! By virtue of our faith statement we are making our faith actionable and applicable in every context of our lives. We recognize the power of faith-filled words aligned with the Word of God! We overcome through the profession of our faith!
Our profession of faith invites the supernatural power of God into our circumstances because He is ever faithful to follow through on His promises. Hebrews 10:23 declares “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised)”. We are admonished that we can openly declare our faith in God’s Word concerning our circumstances because of His faithfulness to honor His promises. We don’t have to be timid about our statements of faith because of the reliability of the Promise Keeper.
I challenge each of you to boldly decree by faith what you expect God to do in and through you according to His word! Speak the word over your children! Decree your faith concerning your job! Begin to speak what you want God to accomplish through you this year and set your expectation in Him. I believe that as you say what you see by faith, you will begin to see what you have said by faith!
