Elizabeth Baptist Church Get Fit 12 Week Challenge is centered around Food, Fitness & Faith.  The vision of Pastor Oliver is for the congregation to actively pursue a healthy lifestlyle while participating in a friendly competition among each other! Please note that a signed waiver is required prior to participating in the Get Fit 12 Week Challenge.

Individuals compete head to head in GetFit challenge beginning May 30th for 12 weeks. EBC Workouts: See who can log the most workouts between all the participants in a challenge. EBC Days Logged: You can compete with others to see who can log food the longest! If you miss even a day of tracking your calories you will fall behind in this challenge. (Please note that this type of challenge is only for food logging. At this time it's not customizable outside of logging of food.)​

Teams compete head to head in a challenge with specific start and end dates. Ex:EBC Days Logged Challenge (a challenge for everyone on your team to log food and exercise the most days during the challenge? EBC Workout Challenge (See who can log the most workouts between all the participants in a challenge. What is a workout? A workout is considered any exercise which burns as many calories as about a 45 minute walk (at 3.5 mph). If you log many smaller exercises, we'll add those up as well to see if they equal a workout. Workout challenges record a maximum of 3 workouts per day.)

Mike White with Get Fit Fitness tells the story of how back in December 2013 he was 5’7 in height and weighed in at 290 lbs. wearing a size 42. After an unhealthy Dr.’s visit, he had to change his MIND SET in order to change his BODY. 6 months after starting a daily workout routine and healthy eating regimen he lost 50 lbs. This is where she decided that exercise and helping people were really important to her and she made the decision to work with people helping them with their fitnessand health.

Has been a Fitness instructor for 15 and a member at EBC for 13 Years. She has lead the Full Body Work Class here at EBC for the past 12 years. Her passion for fitness and health stems from her natural desire to incorporate it into her life. She is excitement to share her love of fitness with others, who have the desires and aspirations to become a better and stronger version of themselves.

An ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and CPR/AED Certified.  I've been in the health, fitness, and wellness industry since 2012 and my love for the industry has grown to great extents over the past several years. I love sharing what I've learned and experienced on my health and fitness journey. As a result, I'm able to use my knowledge to get my clients in the best shape of their life!  Fitness is 'fun' and I'm sure to teach my clients this concept.

Nina Lewis - Fitness Instructor

Nina has never been a good student of rote workouts. I'm 2012 she went looking for a fun way to combine something she loved with something she didn't: dancing and exercising. That's where Zumba and Dance Fitness came in! Along with a nutritious meal, and some weight lifting, Nina believes that routine cardio is essential to staying active. Work up a sweat while dancing together is so fun! It matters not whether you know the dance moves or not, just keep moving!

Courtney Sumpter - Personal Trainer

As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Zumba Certified Instructor, Courtney has a passion for the fitness industry. Ever since she was a child, she has always been involved with sports and dance. She decided last year, in January 2017, that she would combine these two and create fun, yet challenging exercises. Courtney believes that every time you walk through her class, it's like walking into a party, where you leave feeling energized and stress free. Overall, our bodies are designed to move, which is why it's so important to exercise and stretch almost everyday. Her ultimate goal is to own her studio, where she can inspire others to live and maintain healthy lifestyles as well.
